About the role

Chaos Gears is a leading AWS Partner in Europe. You will join our Data & AI team on an insurance-industry data platform: an AWS-native solution that recently shipped its MVP and is now entering serious architectural evolution. You will rebuild it from the ground up, migrating from direct-to-Redshift streaming to a proper data lake, replacing Step Functions with Airflow (MWAA), and moving from ECS to EKS. We build it, we run it: every engineer ships to production with full ownership, no handoffs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Design and implement the new AWS data lake architecture
Build and maintain ELT pipelines using dbt, dltHub and Airflow
Migrate orchestration from Step Functions to Airflow (MWAA)
Ensure data quality, observability and lineage across the platform
Deploy your own solutions to production with full ownership and no handoffs
Collaborate with a small senior engineering team on technical decisions
