About the role

A 12-month temporary role on UpCloud's Infrastructure operations team, keeping the European cloud running 24/7. You'll administer Linux bare-metal and virtualized systems, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), HA databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), networking (TCP/IP, load balancers) and storage (ZFS, iSCSI). Up to 25% travel to Finnish, European and USA data centers. Requires a valid right to work in Finland and ability to travel in the EU. Hybrid, Helsinki-based.

Responsibilities

Maintain and develop production virtualization and storage infrastructure (hardware and software)
Run change and incident management to ensure 24/7 infrastructure availability
Travel to European and USA data centers for hardware installation and maintenance (up to 25%)
Provide technical support to customer support and internal teams
